Celebrating Resilience: Two Years of Opening Doors

In 2024, Adrian School of Massage launched its Resiliency Grant with a simple belief: sometimes the biggest barrier to changing your future is simply getting started.

Since then, we've had the privilege of meeting and supporting students whose stories have inspired us. These are individuals who have faced challenges, overcome obstacles, adapted to difficult circumstances, and continued moving forward. Their resilience has reminded us that determination, character, and heart are often some of the greatest predictors of success.

ASM's Resiliency Grant provides $799 toward a student's enrollment costs, covering all but $1 of our standard $800 down payment. This allows qualifying students to begin their massage therapy journey for just $1 down. While students are still responsible for the remainder of their tuition through one of our available payment options, this grant is specifically designed to remove barriers to entry and help deserving individuals take that important first step.

What makes this grant special is that it recognizes something we see every day: resilience matters. The ability to keep going, learn from challenges, and continue building toward a better future is a quality that serves students well not only in massage school, but throughout their careers and lives.

We're also deeply grateful for the healthcare organizations, schools, nonprofits, human service agencies, government and tribal organizations, employers, faith communities, and other community partners who have helped support this initiative. By recognizing resilience in the people they serve, these partners help expand access to education and meaningful career opportunities while strengthening our community.

As we look ahead, we're excited for the future of the Resiliency Grant and the students it will continue to support. Every person who enters our doors brings a unique story, and some of the most remarkable stories belong to people who have faced adversity and chosen to grow through it.
